Hytro Welcomes NFL Superstar Casey Toohill as Advisor and Investor

Hytro is excited to announce that Casey Toohill, NFL player for the Buffalo Bills, has joined the company as an advisor and investor. Toohill’s investment marks a significant milestone for Hytro in their continued expansion into American Football where Casey’s experience at the pinnacle of the sport will contribute to the brand's mission to empower athletes and fitness enthusiasts worldwide.

Toohill, currently playing as a Defensive End, is known for his athleticism, dedication, and relentless pursuit of excellence both on and off the field. His decision to invest in Hytro reflects his belief in the transformative potential of BFR training and the benefits that Hytro’s innovative products offer to athletes at all levels.

Casey Toohill, professional NFL player and Hytro investor said: “I was first introduced to Hytro during the 2023 NFL season. After experiencing the product first hand, I loved the simplicity, effectiveness and convenience from the very first use. I was struck by the passion, character, and experience of all the team members - after these meetings, I knew I shared in their vision and wanted to be a part of Hytro.

Blood Flow Restriction is already utilised in the NFL, and many athletes such as myself swear by it. But there are serious challenges with the traditional BFR apparatus: it's inconvenient, time consuming and nearly impossible to do while travelling. Hytro makes BFR easy and accessible for the first time. My BFR usage has skyrocketed with Hytro's scientifically backed methodology, and my recovery protocol is now better than ever.

I’m thrilled to partner with a company that is revolutionising the way athletes approach training and recovery,” said Casey Toohill. “As someone who understands the demands placed on the body in professional sports, I recognise the immense value that BFR training can bring. Hytro’s clothing makes it accessible, safe, effective and convenient, which is why I’m excited to be a part of this journey.”

Hytro’s wearables are designed to make BFR training more convenient and efficient, allowing users to incorporate the benefits of BFR into their workouts without the need for cumbersome equipment. The technology works by safely restricting blood flow to specific muscles, enhancing muscle growth, strength, and recovery with lighter weights or even bodyweight exercises.

Raj Thiruchelvarajah, CEO and Co-Founder of Hytro, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration: “We are honoured to welcome Casey Toohill to the Hytro family. His endorsement as an investor, advisor and an athlete validates the impact our products are having in the sports community. Casey’s insight and passion for innovation will be invaluable as we continue to develop our offerings and expand our reach.”

Toohill will play an active role in Hytro’s growth strategy, lending his expertise in sports performance to help guide the development of new products and training protocols. His involvement underscores Hytro’s commitment to integrating the latest athletic science with cutting-edge apparel design, ensuring that athletes from all disciplines can achieve their full potential.
