Hytro becomes Proud Partner of Atlanta Falcons for Performance BFR

Hytro are delighted to become proud partner of the Atlanta Falcons for the 2024 NFL season. This partnership underscores the Falcons' commitment to pushing the boundaries of player performance and recovery, leveraging Hytro’s cutting-edge BFR wearables to optimise athlete preparation and recovery.

As part of this collaboration, Hytro will provide the Falcons with BFR products for the entire squad, supporting the team’s player performance and recovery protocols. The partnership also includes an exciting focus on research and product development, working closely with the Falcons’ performance personnel to explore new applications of BFR technology in professional sports. Together, Hytro and the Falcons will create and share a joint case study on the performance benefits of practical BFR applications.

Dr Warren Bradley, Founder and CSO at Hytro, commented on the partnership:
"Having been introduced to Atlanta Falcons Director of Player Performance, John Griffin, and Assistant Director of Strength & Conditioning, Josh Nelson, by NFL colleagues, we immediately aligned on the untapped potential of BFR and a shared desire to push performance boundaries through innovation. At the very top echelons of sport, it can be easier to stick to the wider consensus and avoid going off-piste in search of performance advantages. This is why I was impressed with John, Nelly, and the rest of the performance staff, showing a clear commitment to their athletes and their craft by working smarter with Hytro. I’m incredibly excited to see where this relationship goes over the coming months and years!"

Richard Frost, Chief Marketing Officer at Hytro, added: “We’re incredibly excited to partner with the Atlanta Falcons, a franchise that represents excellence and high performance in sport. The NFL is home to some of the most incredible athletes in the world, and we’ve always had a deep love for helping athletes push their limits. This partnership is an amazing opportunity for Hytro to show what our wearable BFR solutions can do in such a competitive performance environment. We’re proud to work with a team like the Falcons, and we’re excited to see how we can help their players recover faster and perform at their best.”

“Hytro’s Blood Flow Restriction garments have been a game-changer for our team, providing an additional tool for in-season recovery and helping keep our players available and performing at their best,” said John Griffin, director, player performance, Atlanta Falcons. “By incorporating Hytro into our regimen, we’ve gained a valuable option to enhance training and optimise recovery. We’re excited to see the continued growth of Hytro as a product and look forward to exploring more ways to integrate it across our roster for long-term benefits.”

This partnership further cements Hytro’s growing presence within elite sports. As the chosen BFR wearable provider for over 150 professional teams globally, Hytro’s innovative BFR technology is revolutionising recovery and performance strategies across multiple disciplines. Athletes around the world are choosing to use Hytro across American football, soccer, rugby, and basketball - astronauts are now seeing the value too as Hytro recently supported SpaceX on their successful Polaris Dawn mission in September 2024 to examine how BFR affects blood flow in zero gravity to help maintain astronauts' bone and muscle health.
