Role Overview

The Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing integrated brand marketing strategies that enhance Hytro’s reputation as the leader in BFR technology. This role will oversee brand campaigns, athlete marketing initiatives, and strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with key business objectives and market positioning. 

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including digital, social, PR, product marketing, and sales, to drive brand awareness, credibility, and engagement across key audience segments. The role requires a strategic, creative, and execution-driven individual with experience in sports marketing, brand storytelling, and athlete engagement. 

Key responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Market Positioning 

● Develop and implement brand marketing strategies that reinforce Hytro’s market leadership in sports performance, recovery, and wearable innovation.

● Ensure brand messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligned across all marketing channels and consumer touch-points.

● Oversee the development and maintenance of brand guidelines, ensuring adherence across internal and external communications.

● Work closely with the CMO and leadership team to refine Hytro’s brand positioning, identity, and strategic vision in line with business objectives.

Integrated Brand Campaigns & Consumer Engagement 

● Lead the planning and execution of brand-led campaigns, incorporating athlete partnerships, product storytelling, and market activations.

● Collaborate with PR, social, and digital teams to develop high-impact marketing initiatives that drive brand affinity, consumer engagement, and awareness.

● Oversee the development of brand narratives and campaign storytelling, ensuring alignment with Hytro’s core audiences across pro sports, performance specialists, and consumer athletes.

● Partner with eCommerce and digital teams to ensure brand efforts translate into demand creation and customer acquisition.

Athlete & Community Marketing 

● Develop and manage strategic partnerships with athletes, coaches, and sports organisations, ensuring authentic brand representation in elite sport and fitness communities.

● Lead athlete marketing initiatives, ensuring key brand ambassadors and influencers are effectively integrated into brand campaigns.

● Oversee the development of athlete-led storytelling, showcasing how professionals and consumer athletes integrate BFR into their training and recovery.

● Drive community engagement strategies, ensuring athletes and consumers play an active role in amplifying the brand through organic content and social advocacy.

Brand Performance, Insights & Continuous Improvement 

● Analyse brand performance metrics, consumer insights, and market trends to refine and optimise brand marketing initiatives.

● Ensure that all brand activities align with measurable objectives, contributing to business growth and long-term brand equity.

● Provide strategic recommendations based on brand health tracking, campaign performance, and audience sentiment analysis.

Your Skills & Abilities 

● Strong experience in brand marketing, ideally within sports, fitness, or performance-driven industries.

● Proven track record in developing and executing integrated brand campaigns, with experience in athlete marketing, sponsorships, and performance storytelling.

● Strong understanding of brand strategy, consumer engagement, and audience segmentation, particularly in elite sports and fitness markets.

● Experience working with athletes, performance specialists, and fitness professionals to develop authentic brand partnerships.

● Ability to translate scientific and technical product benefits into compelling brand narratives and marketing activations.

● Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage multiple stakeholders, and deliver against key business objectives.

● Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data, assess campaign performance, and optimise brand marketing strategies.

● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience in brand messaging, content development, and campaign storytelling.
