Hytro Announced as Official BFR Research Supplier to Rugby LA

Hytro is delighted to announce a pioneering research partnership with Rugby LA RFC to explore the benefits of BFR training in enhancing power adaptations and maintaining power levels during the rugby season. Led by Lucas Baistrocchi of Rugby LA RFC and guided by Dr. Warren Bradley, the study seeks to advance industry practices with the potential of transforming elite rugby player training.

LONDON, 5 MARCH 2024 – Hytro, the leading Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) wearables, is excited to welcome Major League Rugby’s newest addition, Rugby LA RFC, in an innovative research partnership. The move solidifies Rugby LA RFC’s intentions to progress quickly in the league, as they welcome Hytro as the team’s official BFR research supplier. 


With Hytro having extensive success across Europe’s biggest rugby leagues, this dynamic collaboration is set to delve into the untapped potential of Blood Flow Restriction training, with a specific focus on enhancing power adaptations and sustaining power levels during the in-season for elite rugby players. This ground-breaking study, spearheaded by Lucas Baistrocchi, Director of Athletic Performance at Rugby LA RFC, and guided by the expertise of Dr. Warren Bradley, is poised to revolutionise industry practices, and have significant implications for the industry.
